Managed Cloud
AWS managed services: we hunt and fix gaps across the six pillars of your cloud.
We take over day-to-day operation of your AWS, Azure or Google Cloud environment: incidents, cost leaks, misconfigurations and infrastructure changes, so your engineers can get back to the product.
- AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner
- ISO 27001 certified
In short
VA2PT's managed cloud service (MSP) is a fully managed operations team for companies running on AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud. We handle incidents around the clock, fix root causes, find cost leaks and ship infrastructure changes through infrastructure as code, measured against the six pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and the equivalent Azure and Google Cloud frameworks. AWS is our deepest expertise: VA2PT is an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner and ISO 27001 certified.
Sound familiar?
Incidents land on your product engineers
Without a dedicated operations team, outages pull developers off roadmap work at the worst possible time, and the same issues come back.
The cloud bill grows faster than revenue
Idle resources, oversized instances, forgotten environments and unplanned AI spend quietly add up, and nobody owns the follow-up.
Infrastructure changes are slow and risky
Hand-built resources and console changes make every deployment a gamble and leave no clean record of what changed.
What we do
The work inside Managed Cloud Services (MSP), run by senior engineers.
Incident management and remediation
Our team manages incidents around the clock. We troubleshoot, restore service and then fix the root cause so the problem does not return.
Continuous cost optimisation
Our tools look for cost leaks every day without touching production, across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud billing data. We follow up until each recommendation is implemented.
One-click infrastructure deployment
We manage your infrastructure as code with Terraform, so new environments and changes are reviewed, repeatable and deployed in one step on any cloud.
Well-Architected gap analysis
We assess your setup across operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimisation and sustainability, using the AWS, Azure and Google Cloud architecture frameworks.
Misconfiguration and exposure hunting
We scan for public S3 buckets, Azure Blob containers and GCS buckets, open security groups and firewall rules, excess IAM permissions and other misconfigurations before they turn into incidents.
Patching, backups and change management
Routine operational work such as OS patching, backup verification and planned changes runs on a schedule with a clear audit trail.
How the engagement runs
- 1
Gap analysis
We review your cloud accounts, subscriptions or projects, architecture, alerting and spend against the relevant Well-Architected framework and document what needs fixing.
- 2
Plan and prioritise
We turn findings into a remediation plan ranked by risk and cost impact, and agree on runbooks and escalation paths with your team.
- 3
Implement
We take over operations and ship fixes as infrastructure as code, with every change reviewed and reversible.
- 4
Monitor impact
We track incidents, cost and posture over time and report progress on a regular cadence, following up until items close.
What you get
- Well-Architected gap report with prioritised findings
- Incident runbooks and escalation matrix
- Root cause analysis for every major incident
- Monthly cost leak and savings report
- Infrastructure-as-code repository for your environments
- Monthly operations review

Questions buyers ask
What does a managed service provider (MSP) do?
A cloud MSP runs your cloud environment for you. At VA2PT that means responding to incidents around the clock, fixing root causes, patching and backing up systems, managing infrastructure changes as code and continuously reducing your cloud bill. You keep full ownership of your accounts and code; we provide the operations team, tooling and process so your engineers can focus on the product instead of the infrastructure.
Do you support Azure and Google Cloud as well as AWS?
Yes. Our engineers operate environments on AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, and several clients run more than one. AWS is where we hold the deepest experience and our AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner status, so AWS-specific programmes and partner resources are available to you. On Azure and Google Cloud we apply the same process: infrastructure as code, Well-Architected-style reviews, daily cost checks and 24x7 incident response.
Do you only alert us, or do you fix problems too?
We fix them. Our team troubleshoots and restores service during an incident, then works on the underlying cause. For each significant incident we write a root cause analysis with short-term and long-term fixes. Where a fix needs a change in your application code, we work with your developers and follow up until it is implemented rather than handing over a ticket and walking away.
How do you reduce our cloud costs without risking production?
Our cost tools only read billing and usage data from AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management or Google Cloud Billing, so scanning never touches production workloads. We identify idle resources, oversized instances, unused storage and commitment gaps, then propose changes with their expected saving. Changes go through the same infrastructure-as-code review as any other change, and we schedule them in agreed windows.
Will we be locked in to VA2PT?
No. Your infrastructure lives in your own cloud accounts and is defined in infrastructure-as-code repositories that you own. Runbooks, architecture notes and root cause documents are written for your team to read. VA2PT is ISO 27001 certified, so our own handling of your access and data follows an audited process. If you bring operations in-house later, everything needed to run the environment is already documented and version-controlled.
