Security & Compliance
DevSecOps: security that ships with every release.
We build vulnerability scanning, patching and security checks into your delivery pipeline on any cloud, so issues are caught early and fixed before they reach production.
- AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner
- ISO 27001 certified
In short
VA2PT's DevSecOps service embeds security into your software delivery lifecycle on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. We add automated code, dependency, container and infrastructure scanning to your CI/CD pipeline, integrate patching into the release cycle, cover AI application dependencies, and align development and business teams early, so new vulnerabilities are found and fixed fast without slowing delivery. VA2PT is ISO 27001 certified.
Sound familiar?
Security arrives at the end
A security review just before release forces rushed fixes or delays, and slows the whole team down.
Known vulnerabilities stay exposed
Newly disclosed CVEs in dependencies and base images sit in production systems until someone notices.
Development and security pull in different directions
Siloed teams create friction and conflict instead of shared ownership of security.
What we do
The work inside DevSecOps Services, run by senior engineers.
Pipeline security scanning
We add SAST, dependency, secrets and container image scanning to GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps or Cloud Build, with sensible gates that block real risk, not every warning.
Fast vulnerability response
We build vulnerability scanning and patching into the release cycle, reducing the window in which attackers can exploit public-facing systems.
Infrastructure as code scanning
Terraform, Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud are checked for misconfiguration before they are applied.
Dynamic application testing
Automated DAST runs against staging environments to catch runtime issues such as injection and broken authentication.
Software supply chain protection
We add SBOMs, image signing and dependency controls, including checks on AI model and library sources, to reduce the risk from compromised open-source packages.
Shared security ownership
We align development and business teams from the start, with clear policies, training and dashboards everyone can read, and map controls to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 requirements.
How the engagement runs
- 1
Gap analysis
We map your pipelines, repositories, dependencies and environments, and find where security checks are missing.
- 2
Design guardrails
We choose tools and policies that fit your stack and agree which findings block a release and which only warn.
- 3
Implement
We integrate scanning and fixes into CI/CD step by step, tuning to keep false positives low.
- 4
Monitor impact
We track open vulnerabilities, time to fix and pipeline health, and keep improving the setup.

Questions buyers ask
What is DevSecOps?
DevSecOps means building security into every stage of software delivery instead of checking it at the end. Code, dependencies, container images and infrastructure definitions are scanned automatically as part of CI/CD, vulnerabilities are patched as part of the normal release cycle, and developers, operations and security share responsibility. The result is faster, safer releases with fewer surprises.
Will security scanning slow down our pipeline?
Not if it is set up well. We run fast checks, such as secrets and dependency scans, on every commit, and heavier scans in parallel or on a schedule. We also tune rules to cut false positives, so developers are only blocked by real, high-severity problems. Most teams see little change in build time.
How is DevSecOps different from VAPT?
DevSecOps is continuous and automated: checks run on every build to stop known issues shipping. VAPT is a deeper, manual assessment in which our testers think like attackers to find flaws that automated tools miss, such as business logic issues. Most companies benefit from both, with DevSecOps catching routine issues and periodic VAPT covering the rest.
Does this help with ISO 27001 or SOC 2?
Yes. Both frameworks expect secure development practices, vulnerability management and change control with evidence. Pipeline scanning, release gates and vulnerability dashboards produce that evidence automatically. VA2PT is ISO 27001 certified, so we map the controls we implement to the clauses and criteria your auditor will ask about, and we support SOC 2 readiness in the same way.
Which tools do you use?
We fit tools to your stack and budget. Common choices include SonarQube or Semgrep for static analysis, Trivy or Snyk for dependencies and container images, Checkov for infrastructure as code, Gitleaks for secrets and OWASP ZAP for dynamic testing, alongside the native scanners in GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps and the cloud providers. Open-source tools cover a great deal, and we recommend commercial ones only where they add clear value.
