Managed Cloud
Improve your cloud security posture every day, not once a year.
As your managed security service partner, we scan your AWS, Azure and Google Cloud environments daily, tune WAF rules to live traffic and track every finding until it is fixed.
- AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner
- ISO 27001 certified
In short
VA2PT's managed security service (MSSP) is ongoing cloud security for companies on AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. We run daily vulnerability and compliance scans, triage findings from AWS Security Hub, Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Google Security Command Center, monitor for DDoS activity, keep WAF rules tuned to real traffic and raise tickets that we follow up on until each issue is resolved. VA2PT is ISO 27001 certified and an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner.
Sound familiar?
Security is checked once a year
Annual audits leave months where new misconfigurations and vulnerabilities go unnoticed.
Findings pile up without owners
Scanners produce long reports, but nobody turns them into tickets or chases them to closure.
Attacks are noticed after downtime
Without traffic visibility, DDoS attempts and abusive bots show up as outages and surprise bills.
What we do
The work inside Managed Security (MSSP), run by senior engineers.
Automated daily vulnerability scanning
Our tools scan your infrastructure every day and report where each weakness is and how critical it is to fix.
Ticketing and follow-up
Findings become tickets for your team with clear remediation steps, and we follow up until each one is resolved.
Compliance monitoring
We continuously check configuration against CIS benchmarks for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, and collect evidence for ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
DDoS monitoring and impact analysis
We watch for DDoS activity daily using AWS Shield, Azure DDoS Protection or Google Cloud Armor, and explain any consequence for your applications, uptime and costs.
Proactive WAF rule management
We monitor traffic trends and keep AWS WAF, Azure WAF or Cloud Armor rules current, blocking unusual traffic and showing attack patterns over time.
Threat detection triage
We review findings from GuardDuty and Security Hub, Defender for Cloud and Security Command Center, separate real threats from noise and escalate what needs action.
How the engagement runs
- 1
Gap analysis
We baseline your cloud accounts for misconfigurations, exposed resources, identity risk and missing logging.
- 2
Harden and enable
We switch on the security services you need, set up WAF and logging and agree on severity and escalation.
- 3
Monitor daily
Scans, traffic analysis and threat detection run every day, and findings become tracked tickets.
- 4
Report and improve
We report posture trends and open risks each month and follow up until items are closed.
What you get
- Security baseline report for every cloud account
- Daily scan results with severity ratings

Questions buyers ask
What is a managed security service provider (MSSP)?
An MSSP runs security operations for you. For cloud environments, that means continuously scanning your accounts for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, monitoring threats and traffic, managing controls such as WAF and following up on findings. VA2PT acts as that team across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, so you get daily security coverage without hiring a full in-house cloud security function.
How is this different from a one-time VAPT?
A VAPT is a point-in-time test, usually of an application or API, that shows how an attacker could get in. MSSP is ongoing: daily scanning, compliance checks, WAF tuning and threat monitoring of your cloud infrastructure. The two work well together. Many clients run a VAPT before a release or audit and keep MSSP running between tests to stop new gaps appearing.
Can you help us prepare for ISO 27001 or SOC 2?
Yes. Continuous compliance monitoring checks your cloud configuration against recognised benchmarks and flags drift. We help you close technical gaps and collect the configuration evidence auditors ask for, such as logging, encryption, access control and backup settings. VA2PT is ISO 27001 certified itself, so we know the process from the inside. We do not issue certifications; an accredited auditor does that, but we make the technical side of the audit much easier.
Do you change our WAF rules automatically?
Rule changes go through an agreed process. We monitor traffic trends and propose new or adjusted rules, typically starting in count or detection mode to confirm they will not block legitimate users. Once validated, we switch them to block. During an active attack, we follow a pre-agreed emergency procedure so protection is not delayed by approvals.
